David J. Hoff, founder and president for more than ten years of THE HOFF GROUP and NORTHTRACK CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, is licensed as both a professional architect and a commercial building inspector. David has been a guest speaker and juror for construction management classes at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, has served on the Technical Advisory Committee for Milwaukee’s mass transit initiative, and is a member of the Board of Directors for St. Catherine Residence in Milwaukee.

David’s experience spans two decades and, in addition to his present positions, includes significant contributions made at Alterra Healthcare Corporation in the latter half of the 1990's. David created an in-house construction and development division while serving as Executive Vice-President heading the development, construction and architectural divisions within the firm. Responsible for the development of approximately 200 facilities in 33 states (valued at more than $900 million), he formulated and executed the largest assisted-living expansion program in the United States, and helped Alterra transition from a private entity to a publicly held corporation.

Prior to his tenure at Alterra Healthcare, David owned and operated Brookfield Inspection Services, a professional service firm that provided planning, zoning and building inspection services for over $160 million in new and remodeled construction for the Town of Brookfield, Wisconsin, in the early 1990's.
